INTERNAL MEMO To: Parents of Maple Grove Primary From: Emma Clarke, Childcare Coordinator Date: August 12, 2024 Subject: After-School Program Updates and Babysitter Roster We are pleased to announce several updates to the after-school program for the upcoming term. Starting September 3, the program will run Monday through Friday from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM. In addition, we will introduce a supervised quiet homework slot from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM to support children in Years 1–4. Registration opens today. Because spaces are limited to 30 children, early registration is advised. Please return registration forms by August 25 to secure a place. A waiting list will be maintained once the program reaches capacity. We will also hold a mandatory babysitter training session for parents and staff on August 28 at 4:00 PM in the school hall. Attendance is required for anyone wishing to appear on the volunteer babysitter roster. Late pick-ups after 5:45 PM will incur a small fee to cover additional supervision.
