Listening Section
100 questions • 45 minutes
Listening Section – Oral Comprehension
This section measures your ability to understand spoken English in professional situations.
The Listening section has 4 parts, with a total of 100 questions, lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Part 1 – Photographs (6 questions)
You see a photo and hear four statements. Choose the statement that best describes the picture.
Part 2 – Question-Response (25 questions)
You hear a question followed by three possible responses. Select the most appropriate response.
Part 3 – Conversations (39 questions)
You listen to short conversations between two or more people, then answer questions about what you heard.
Part 4 – Talks (30 questions)
You listen to messages, announcements, or presentations, then answer comprehension questions.
⚠️ Important:
- Each recording is played only once.
- On the official exam day, you mark your answers on a separate answer sheet; you cannot write in the test booklet.
💡 Strategy Tips:
For parts 1, 3, and 4, use the written information (photos, questions, answer choices) to anticipate what you will hear. This will help you focus on key elements in each recording. For part 2, questions and responses are not displayed on screen: focus on keywords and context.
Reading Section
100 questions • 75 minutes
Reading Section – Reading Comprehension
This section evaluates your ability to read and understand English texts similar to those encountered in an international work environment.
The Reading section has 3 parts, with a total of 100 questions, lasting 75 minutes.
Part 5 – Incomplete Sentences (30 questions)
For each sentence, choose the word or phrase that correctly completes it (grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions…).
Part 6 – Text Completion (16 questions)
You read short texts with blanks. For each blank, choose the best option from four choices.
Part 7 – Reading Comprehension (54 questions)
You read various types of documents (emails, announcements, articles, forms, etc.), single or in related groups, then answer comprehension questions.
⚠️ Important:
- You manage your own time throughout the Reading section. It is up to you to decide how much time to spend on each part.
- The official exam is paper-based: you mark your answers on a separate answer sheet without writing in the test booklet.
💡 Strategy Tips:
- Monitor your time regularly to avoid spending too long on any single question.
- For part 5, quickly identify the grammar or vocabulary point being tested.
- For parts 6 and 7, do not read every text word by word: identify key information (dates, numbers, names, linking words…) and refer back to the text as needed.
